Has anyone else had some warmer temps this week? After 2 weeks of single digit temps I can’t tell you how stoked I was to have 2 days above 50 degrees! I actually turned the air on today. *gasp* I know right! Granted I’m in Tennessee so we don’t often get really bad winters, but we almost never see 50 degree days in January either. I’m just going to enjoy it while I can. Today I have 16 new reformulated shades from the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri line. These are said to be one coat cremes that are dry to the touch in about 60 seconds. I’ve also heard they stamp well; so I put them to the test. Ready to take a look?
These polishes are marketed as one coat coverage dry in about 60 seconds, so I was testing for those 2 claims. They are also often said to stamp well so I tested how they stamped over black and white.
Racing Horse is best described as a soft baby pink creme. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 80 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped nicely over black and white.

Peach Buzzis best described as a bright peach creme with added gold shimmer. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 80 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped beautifully over black and white.
White on Time is best described as a bright white creme. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 80 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped nicely over black.

Insta Dri Nail Polish
Buff and Tumbleis best described as a soft neutral tan with peach undertones. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 90 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped nicely.
Watermelon Wizzis best described as a bright fuchsia pink creme. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 90 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped beautifully over black and white. Isn’t this color just gorgeous too?
Champagne Supernova is best described as a champagne ivory creme with slight yellow undertones. This one was a bit on the streaky side so neded a second coat for smooth application. Stamped nicely over black.

Just in Wineis best described as a medium burgundy wine creme. Went on streaky so it needed a second coat for smooth finish. Dry to the touch in about 60-90 seconds. My swatches show 2 coats over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped beautifully over white.
Heather Hustle is best described as a soft lavender lilac creme. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 90 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped nicely over black and white.

Thyme is Money is best described as a pale sage green creme. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 90 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamped beautifully over black and white.
Petal to the Metal is best described as a metallic dusty rose creme. This finish is not my favorite, but it did cover in one coat. Dry to the touch in about 60-90 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. Stamps fairly well.
Va-Va-Violetis best described as a violet berry purple creme. Applied nicely with one medium coat. It was dry to the touch in about 60 – 90 seconds. My swatches show 1 coat over a ridge filling base coat then topped with glossy top coat. This one really didn’t stamp very well, it had a slightly thinner consistency than the others.

Sally Hansen Prismatic Shine Insta Dri Nail Polish Collection
Overall I would definitely recommend these. I did use a slightly thicker coat than I normally would, but that’s still very reasonable for these cremes. Two of the shades I was not able to get full coverage in one coat, Champagne Supernova and Just in Wine but they covered nicely in 2 coats. I found that they all stamped nicely with the exception of Va-Va-Violet which seemed a bit thin for stamping. Regardless you really can’t go wrong with one coat cremes that stamp for about $4.99 each.
